Start Your Process

Starting therapy can bring up doubts or uncertainty, especially if it's your first time. That's why it's important to know how it usually unfolds.

First Session
In our first meeting, we'll have time to get to know each other. You can share what's happening, how you're feeling, and what led you to start therapy. We'll also address any questions and begin to define what you need right now.

Assessment and Understanding
During the first few sessions, we'll delve into your history and what's causing distress in the present. The goal is to understand not only what's happening but also its origins and the factors maintaining it.

Therapeutic Intervention

From there, we'll begin to work more deeply. The process is adapted to you, your pace, and your needs, integrating various therapeutic tools.

Follow-up and Consolidation

As you progress, we'll consolidate the changes and work to help you integrate them into your daily life, promoting greater emotional well-being and balance.

Every therapeutic process is unique and is tailored to your pace and needs.

EMDR Therapy

Overcome traumas and phobias with EMDR, an effective therapy to reprocess difficult experiences and regain your peace.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy is a psychological approach particularly effective in treating trauma and emotionally intense experiences.

Often, certain experiences are not fully processed and remain “stored” in the nervous system, causing distress in the present (anxiety, blockages, insecurity, intense emotional reactions…).

EMDR allows you to reprocess these experiences in an adaptive way, helping them lose their emotional charge and stop interfering with your current life.

As a therapist trained in EMDR (levels I and II), I integrate this approach into the therapeutic process when it is appropriate for the individual.

It is a structured therapy, based on scientific evidence, that works directly on the root cause of distress, not just on the symptoms.

You can find more information about the scientific evidence and benefits of EMDR in the following links: EMDR Research, EMDR Articles.
